Redshirt freshman Teghan Henderson won the women's 5K and was named the league Freshman of the Year and Iman Isang earned all-conference in the men's 110 meter hurdles.

UTC track and field heads to the Southern Conference outdoor championships this weekend in Spartanburg, S.C.

The UTC women, led by a top place finish in the 1500m, was third Saturday at the WCU Beynon Catamount Classic while the men, buoyed by a pair of top place finishes, was fourth overall.

The UTC track and field teams will compete Saturday at the Beynon Sports Surfaces Catamount Classic hosted by Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, N.C.
