The UTC men's and women's track and field teams headed out Friday afternoon for the Beynon Sports Surfaces Catamount Classic hosted by Western Carolina in Cullowhee, N.C.

UTC senior John Gilpin claimed the 3000 meter Steeplechase and led 11 Mocs in Top 10 finishes Saturday at the 2015 Auburn Tiger Track Classic at the Hutsell-Rosen Track.

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's and women's outdoor track teams will head south to Auburn to compete in the Tiger Track Classic Saturday, April 4 at the Hutsell-Rosen Track.

University of Tennessee at Chattanooga sophomore Paul Stuart (Brentwood, Tenn.) placed ninth in the men's 5K last Friday night on the Mocs' first day at the Alabama Relays at the Sam Bailey Track.

The UTC men's and women's track teams will open the outdoor season in Tuscaloosa this Friday and Saturday to compete in the John Mitchell Alabama Relays at the Sam Bailey Track and Field Complex.

UTC junior Marquis Carter and redshirt freshman Maddison Melchionna both earned all-conference honors Saturday on the final day of the Southern Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships.

The women's DMR team bested the school record with a time of 11:49.59 to claim the Southern Conference title and the men earned all-conference honors with a second place finish.

The Running Mocs head to the 2015 SoCon Indoor Track and Field Championships Friday and Saturday at the Crossplex in Birmingham, Ala.

She traded in her ice skates for running shoes and her passion for the sport continues long after her collegiate days came to an end.
