With the season vastly approaching, the Commodores cast of seven newcomers will get an opportunity to make a name for themselves.

Coming weeks will busy as the team continues to prepare for first meet on Aug. 29.

Vanderbilt had 47 student-athletes named to the 2013-14 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the Southeastern Conference Friday.
