The women's track and field team is set to welcome its largest recruiting class in school history this fall as 12 new student-athletes join the ranks of the Lady Bisons.

Standout freshman Madi Talbert rounded out her rookie season with a third-place finish in the 2013 U.S.A. Junior Nationals in Des Moines, Iowa.

Five members of the track and field teams are set to compete in this week's U.S. Junior Nationals. Events begin on Thursday night for the Bisons.

The historic season for Lipscomb freshman Madi Talbert continued on Tuesday as she was honored by the USTFCCCA with honorable mention All-America honors.

It was a history-making run for the Lipscomb track and field team. Freshman Madi Talbert became the first LU athlete to compete at the NCAA Championships in the national finals on Thursday evening in Eugene, Ore.
