Joseph Mullen of Tennessee Wesleyan named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

Mullen earned the honor twice before this season. He finished 88th with a time of 25:27.

Joseph continued his great season with another impressive performance in a field of 250 athletes. Out of the 28 teams in the Gold race at The Greater Louisville classic only 4 of them were Non D1 schools, NAIA #4 St. Francis, #8 TWC and D2 #5 Southern Indiana and #11 Mt. Olive. This was a very competitive high caliber race and The TWC Senior competed very well in this field. On the same course he was 54 seconds faster this year than last season.
