Named in The Runner Magazine as the top running city in America in 1984, Johnson City certainly has its fair share of track and field aficionados, and Milligan College's head track and field coach Chris Layne hopes they'll come out for what looks to be some uber-competitive races and events at Wednesday and Thursday's Appalachian Athletic Conference outdoor track and field championships, which will take place at Science Hill's Sidney Smallwood Track and Field Complex.
