DANVILLE, Ala. In its first year of official Gulf South Conference (GSC) competition, the Lee University women's cross country team placed two runners in the top 10 on its way to a second-place finish at the GSC championship Saturday morning at the Oakville Indian Mounds Cross Country Course. Lee's 65 team points were eight behind first place West Alabama (57) and just in front of the defending GSC champs from Union University (70).
