Johnson City, TN. – It was a stellar performance for the women's track and field distance crew as they posted one NAIA national qualifying mark and three top-15 performances.

Sophomore Leah Chance hit an NAIA B standard in the 5,000 meter race this weekend. Chance finished ninth overall with a time of 18:28.95.

The women's distance medley relay also posted a top-10 performance, finishing seventh overall with a time of 12:57.78. The relay team consisted of freshman Hannah Rhodes, sophomore Alexus Lyons, freshman Karlie Yinger, and junior Robbiccaa Williams.

In addition to helping the distance medley relay finish seventh, Rhodes also finished in the top-15 in the 3,000 meter race, posted a time of 11:07.44. She finished 15th overall out of a total of 54 runners.

The Lady Bulldogs return to action Friday Feb. 21, as they head to Winston-Salem, North Carolina to participate at the USC Invitational on the JDL Fast Track.
