Rachel Lawhorn of Tennessee Wesleyan and Robbiccaa Williams of Tennessee are the Appalachian Athletic Conference Women's Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced on Monday. Joseph Mullen of Tennessee Wesleyan is the Appalachian Athletic Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week.

Lawhorn broke three school records in all three of her events as she competed in the javelin, shot put and discus. All were personal bests as well.

Williams was the first leg on the 4x800m team that broke the school record on Friday. On Saturday, she ran a school record in the 5K, finishing third in her first ever 5K on the track.

Mullen hit the NAIA National A standard in his first 10K he has ever run on the track. His time was the fastest time in the NAIA so far as well at 30:45.49.

This is the first week for the weekly honors. The next set of awards will be announced on March 30.
